Ritherdon is constantly striving and looking for innovative ways to improve and create products that are required by the industry. With the assistance of The University of Manchester and Professor Yong Wang from the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, the Passively Safe Cabinet was created. Through this Ritherdon have been awarded an Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) and a university graduate will be starting towards the end of February. Dr Naveed Hussain will be working on the Ritherdon range of products using Finite Element Analysis modelling software to optimise the performance of each product. This will include properties such as strength and stiffness under the various loading conditions. Ritherdon will also be having the product range CE marked to the appropriate standard.
