The Ritherdon R22 Replacement Gas Meter Housing is designed to replace an existing GRP Gas Meter Housing that has been damaged but the Standard GRP Gas meter Backplate is intact, or where there is a need to protect the unit from vandal attack.

The units are fabricated from corrosion resistant, commercial grade stainless steel, and are finished in white using the latest powder coating techniques for extra durability.

The R22 fits onto the backplate in the same manner as the original GRP Housing, by hooking the top over the backplate at the wall, and the new integrated spring bracket locks the unit in place. For extra security, there are two holes in the base which allow the unit to be screwed to the backplate.
