Service Cabinet
Design features
Fabrication
- Hinged doors (almost full height) allowing better access, sealed with a neoprene gasket.
- Service cabinets larger than the R620 have two hinged doors and a removable centre channel.
- Manufactured from 2.0 mm thick stainless steel to ensure the maximum service life.
- Access for cable ducting is provided in the base.
- Earth bonding of the door to the body (two M6 studs complete with nuts and washers) as standard.
Installation
Cabinets can be bolted down onto a suitable surface, or attached to a buried plinth that can be ordered separately (see options on products pages).
Backboard
- All pillars are supplied with a full-width, external-grade plywood backboard for the fitting of electrical termination equipment.
- Alternative materials for the backboard can be included on request.
Security fixings
Doors are supplied with tri-key camlocks as standard. Alternatives include:
- pin-hex camlocks,
- key-operated camlocks,
- lockable ‘L’ or ‘T’ handles,
- stainless steel Allen screws, 25 mm long,
- pin-hex dome headed screw, for extra security,
- hasp and staple arrangements.
Electrical supply and fitting service
- Ritherdon and Company is able to provide a supply and fitting service for the electrical termination equipment. This service can include pre-wiring (
wiring team).
- Pre-punched termination-rails can be supplied and fitted across the top of the root for terminating incoming cables.
Colours available as standard
Ritherdon service cabinets are available either in the natural stainless steel finish or with a powder coated finish. The options are:
- Natural, stainless steel finish.
- Dark Grey.
- Light Grey.
- Dark Green.
- Black.
- Black leatherette graffiti-resistant.
