The Ritherdon R20 Replacement door and frame is designed to repair a damaged glass fibre (GRP) electricity meter box. It is intended for use in areas where there is a high risk of vandalism, and is a new addition to the popular ranges of replacement doors and frames that Ritherdon & Company supply.
The unit is fabricated from electrolytically zinc-coated steel, and powder coated to give a durable protective finish.
The R20 is designed for quick and easy installation by fixing to the inside of the damaged box using six pre-drilled fixing tabs.
The R20 is fitted with earth bonding points on the door, and on three of the six fixing tags.
To provide extra security, the unit is fitted with two sturdy cam locks, operated by a standard triangular key.
